Thai Airways International Juggles Flight Schedule for Floating Lantern Festival

In order to maintain its high flight safety standards Thai Airways International (THAI) has announced some changes in its flight schedule for flights in Northern Thailand during the Loy Kratong Festival.
During the festival, which will be held between 12th and 16th November, THAI will cancel certain flights, while some flights will be increased.
Loy Kratong Flight Changes
The following flights have been increased for the Loy Kratong Festival:
- Flight TG8718 on 12-16 November 2016 departs from Bangkok at 11:05 a.m. and arrives in Chiang Mai at 12:15 p.m.
- Flight TG8719 on 12-16 November 2016 departs from Chiang Mai at 1:15 p.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 2:25 p.m.
- Flight TG8716 on 15th November 2016 departs from Bangkok at 09:10 a.m. and arrives in Chiang Mai at 10:20 a.m.
- Flight TG8717 on 15th November 2016 departs from Chiang Mai at 11:35 a.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 12:45 p.m.
Also, these flights have been changed:
- Flight TG116 on 13th November 2016 normally departs from Bangkok at 5:20 p.m. and arrives in Chiang Mai at 6:30 p.m. is changed to depart from Bangkok at 3:20 p.m. and arrives in Chiang Mai at 4:30 p.m.
- Flight TG117 on 13th November 2016 normally departs from Chiang Mai at 7:20 p.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 8:30 p.m. is changed to depart from Chiang Mai at 5:20 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 6:30 p.m.
- Flight TG120 on 13th November 2016 normally departs from Bangkok at 6:40 p.m. and arrives in Chiang Mai at 8:00 p.m. is changed to depart from Bangkok at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Chiang Mai at 5:10 p.m.
- Flight TG121 on 13th November 2016 normally departs from Chiang Mai at 8:50 p.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 10:10 p.m. is changed to depart from Chiang Mai at 5:50 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 7:00 p.m.
- Flight TG103 on 14th November 2016 normally departs from Chiang Mai at 10:05 a.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 11:25 a.m. is changed to depart from Chiang Mai at 09:55 a.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 11:15 a.m.
- Flight TG105 on 14th November 2016 normally departs from Chiang Mai at 10:40 a.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 11:50 a.m. is changed to depart from Chiang Mai at 12:05 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 1:15 p.m.
- Flight TG116 on 14th and 15th November 2016 normally departs from Bangkok at 5:20 p.m. and arrives in Chiang Mai at 6:30 p.m. is changed to depart from Bangkok at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Chiang Mai at 5:00 p.m.
- Flight TG117 on 14th and 15th November 2016 normally departs from Chiang Mai at 7:20 p.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 8:30 p.m. is changed to depart from Chiang Mai at 5:50 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 7:00 p.m.
Also, flights TG120 and TG121 (Bangkok-Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai-Bangkok) during 14th and 15th November have been cancelled.
