Thailand's aviation industry is set to welcome a new player with the launch of Really Cool Airlines. The airline was started on March 2, 2023. Its CEO, Patee Sarasin, said that the airline plans to announce its flight routes by the end of June and start running by the end of the year.The airline plans to focus on international flights and will be a full-service carrier with more safety features.

The airline's slogan, "We Fly the Future," shows that its goal is to use new ideas and technology to improve its services and find new places in the market.Although it is not a luxury carrier, Really Cool Airlines aims to provide an extraordinary experience to its passengers, as emphasised by its founder and former CEO of Nok Air, Mr. Patee Sarasin.

With the help of Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, who said that airlines are an important part of making cities smart, Really Cool Airlines wants to help the Thai tourism industry get back on its feet.The Tourism Authority of Thailand is targeting 30 million foreign tourists this year, and adding more airlines and flights is essential to achieving this target.

Fleet

Really Cool Airlines is one of four companies trying to get licences to fly in Thailand. It plans to add widebody aircraft to its fleet and is currently in talks with Airbus and Boeing.The airline plans to start with a fleet of four planes, with the first aircraft expected to be an Airbus A350.

Destinations

The airline hasn't said what its destination network will be, but Japan, Europe, and China are likely to be on it.The airline plans to deploy two aircraft by 2023 and two by 2024.
The airline is owned by RC Airlines Company Limited. Patee Sarasin, Thanat Pavawavipulyakorn, and Mas Tanyongmas are some of the most important people who work there.The head office is at No. 389, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Samsen Nai Subdistrict, Phayathai District, Bangkok.
