Thai Airlines Offer Special Privileges for Women Travelers During August

Four Thailand-based carriers, including Thai Airways International (THAI), its subsidiary airline Thai Smile, flag carrier Bangkok Airways and NokScoot, have decided to offer special privileges such as airfare promotions to women travellers who decide to use their services during August this year as a part of the ongoing Women’s Journey Thailand Campaign.
The Airports of Thailand (TAT) Deputy Governor for International Marketing for Asia and South Pacific Mrs. Srisuda Wanapinyosak said:
We are pleased that the Women’s Journey Thailand Campaign has received tremendous support from the related authorities and the private sector for two consecutive years, and has helped encourage women travellers from around the world to visit Thailand to enjoy a huge range of activities, special deals, discounts and privileges throughout this special month.
Those traveling with THAI will be able to use a special check-in counter at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok as well as carry 10 additional kilograms of baggage. Furthermore, if they stop by the Emporium Department Store they can show their boarding pass at the Harvest Juice shop to get a “Think Pink” juice. Finally, Royal Orchid Holidays also offers double Royal Orchid Plus miles and special room rates.
Thai Smile on the other hand also offers special fare promotions, brand name goods as a Mother’s Day gift (courtesy of Boots Retail) and a “Pink” dessert menu. All of this will be available on Thai Smile flights during August.
The Asian Boutique Airline, Bangkok Airways decided to surprise women with a special fare of 1,190 baht per trips on flights between the capitol and popular domestic destinations such as Phuket, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Krabi, Lampang, Trat and Sukhothai. Bookings are available until 15th August (Tuesday) and tickets can be used until the end of this month (31st August). In addition, BA also offers 15 points for those who become a FlyerBonus member by the end of August as well as double FlyerBonus points. The airline will also allow 10 extra kg of baggage allowance for women travellers.
Finally, buying FlyBag or FlyBagEat tickets via NokScoot website will grant women travellers a special offer. Using the MOMMYDAY promo code will get them a 10% discount. The promo code can be used for booking between 7th and 31st August and tickets are valid from 7th August to 20th December 2017.
