Bangkok Airways Launches New Multilingual Booking Website

Thailand-based carrier Bangkok Airways and Translation.com - a division of the biggest privately owned provider of translation-related technologies and language services in the world today, TransPerfect – announced a partnership today. According to it, Translations.com will support the launch of Bangkok Air’s booking site in several languages. The first of these will be in Simplified Chinese and it will be followed with additional language sites from 2017.
Bangkok Air’s Vice President of Marketing Prote Setsuwan said the following about the partnership with Translations.com:
OneLink has helped us to kick-start our global expansion in a manner which is both cost-effective and low maintenance from an internal resources perspective. I am confident our newly localized sites will be key to increasing our market share.

In order to increase its presence in Asia further, Bangkok Airways launched a Simplified Chinese booking website using GlobalLink OneLink. This is TransPerfect’s proxy-based site localization solution capable of automating a number of manual tasks required for translation of global website content.
As Bangkok Airways ads more language sites, OneLink will further streamline bangkokair.com’s ongoing maintenance by routing any new content to TransPerfect’s production department where it will be translated and then placed back on the localized site.
