After less than a year of operating Australia to Phuket flights, both Pacific Blue and V Australia are increasing the frequencies of the flights from 5 to 7 per week.

From December 20, its sister boutique airline V Australia will increase the Melbourne to Phuket route from 1 to2 flights per week. It initiated the flight on December 4 last year.

From August 19, Pacific Blue will increase the frequency of the Perth to Phuket route from 2 to 3 week. It launched the service on November 14 last year.

The frequency of V Australia's twice weekly Brisbane to Phuket service, launched on November 29 last year, will stay the same.

Raymond Honings, managing director of LTU Asia, the airlines' GSA in Thailand, said the 5 existing flights had been enjoying an average load factor of more than 90 per cent to full house from their inauguration dates.
