Indian-based five-star carrier Vistara has officially launched direct flights between Bangkok and New Delhi in India.
A report by Bangkok Post said that Vistara is the sole carrier that offers a premium economy class for flights to Thailand apart from business and economy classes.
Passengers going to New Delhi will have the convenience to fly to other destinations in India such as Amritsar, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
Vistara is an airline which has bagged multiple “Best Airlines” awards and received highest ratings from Skytrax and TripAdvisor. At present, it flies to 34 overseas and local destinations and operates over 200 flights daily using its fleets Airbus A320 and 9 Boeing 737-800NG. It has so far flown 20 million passengers.
By March 2020, Vistara aims to have a total of 42 aircraft. It is set to add the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and the Airbus A321 neo into its portfolio.
Over the next four years, the company is looking at acquiring 50 more aircraft comprising of narrow- and wide-bodied planes as part of its efforts to become a global airline of choice.
Vistara inked several codeshare agreements with British Airways, Japan Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and United Airlines.
