Thai Smile to Take off in July

ThaiSmile, Thai Airways' economy service, announced that its first flight (on July 7) to Macau will depart from the Suvarnabhumi Airport. They also have plans to rival other economy airlines through giving freebies and discounts. Apart from that, the airline also plans to include more international destinations, like the large cities of India and China, and local popular destinations like Surath Thani, Phuket, Krabi, and Chiang Mai.

ThaiAirways expects that through the introduction of ThaiSmile, it could provide service to as much as 300,000 passengers in its first year.

Meanwhile, EVA Air will increase their Hello Kitty jets, which are scheduled to fly to Shanghai and Tokyo 23rd of May. More destinations will be introduced in the future.

The two jets are decorated with Hello Kitty's face not only from the outside, but in the inside as well'headrest covers, cups, snacks, utensils, tissues, hand soaps, etc. Even the flight attendants will wear uniforms with Hello Kitty designs. Special edition Hello Kitty products will also be offered.
