Thai AirAsia, already the airline with the most domestic flights in Thailand, is adding more schedules to some if their most popular routes.
Services from Bangkok to Phuket, Bangkok to Hat Yai, Bangkok to Udon Thani and Bangkok to Krabi will all get more daily flights.
From October 1st 2011 there will be 6 flights to Krabi, 4 to Hat Yai and 3 to Udon Thani.
From October 30th 2011 there will be an extra flight on the Bangkok to Phuket route; 9 a day.
The additions have been put in place due to extra passenger demand in the high season.
Thai AirAsia serve 10 domestic destinations and operate 40 flights per day within Thailand using 180-seat Airbus 320s.
Due to an increase in tourist numbers the airline carried 30.4% more passengers year-on-year in the second quarter of this year to reach 1.61 million.
