If there is an airline that welcomes Scoot's move to the country's oldest airport, it is Nok Air, another low-cost carrier and a subsidiary of Thai Airways International.

To recall, Scoot and Nok Air have inked an interline agreement earlier this year, which enables their customers to book a single itinerary on both airlines.

As Nok Air laid down the welcome mat for Scoot to mark this important event, the two airlines also officially launched their partnership through interline agreement.

The agreement also includes the handling of the airport ground operations of Scoot by Nok Air. According to Patee Sarasin, Nok Air's Chief Executive Officer, the partnership between the two airlines would undoubtedly benefit each other.

He further said that it's the passengers who would benefit the most in the agreement for they would be able to access the extensive route networks of both airlines, providing them seamless connections throughout their combined networks.

Nok Air will be able to offer Scoot passengers an extensive domestic network cross Thailand, while Nok Air passengers will now be able to fly to destinations via Scoot's extensive international network.

This strategic partnership would allow customers of both airlines enjoy the ease and comfort of flying across the combined network. It will also enable both airlines to expand their market, resulting to more international visitors to Thailand.
