Nok Air has resumed their flight route between Bangkok (BKK) and Chiang Rai after cancelling it 4 years ago in a move to cut costs.
Nok are increasing their domestic flight routes and are obtaining three more Boeing 737-800s in order to fulfil the capacity.
The flight from Bangkok to Chiang Rai will operate twice a day using 150-168 seater B737-400 aircraft.
Flights will depart daily from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi at 9:20am and 3:25pm and leave on the return leg from Chiang Rai at 11:05am and 5:10pm. The flight will last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Currently Orient Thai and Thai Airways also fly this route.
