Bangkok Airways and Qantas finally put a seal to their partnership via the codeshare agreement that they started to work out in March this year.
The codeshare agreement between the two carriers will essentially make it easier for Bangkok Airways customers to book tickets to Australia via Bangkok Airways' own website.
The flights that can be booked through the Thai airline's website, however, are limited to the Australian carrier's specified routes in the region: the Bangkok-Sydney, Singapore-Sydney, and Singapore-Melbourne routes for the international leg of their trip.
Moreover, clients can also book selected Qantas flights on its domestic network.
The agreement will fortify Qantas position in the South East Asian region by increasing its market share coming from the region's two major tourist destinations.
