Bangkok Airways has joined forces with the top Indian international carrier Jet Airways. The two airlines will now offer a reciprocal frequent flyer partnership.
The partnership will enable members of Bangkok Airway's FlyerBonus program to earn and redeem their miles while flying with Jet Airways. The same goes for JetPrivilege members, who will be able to earn and redeem JPMiles by flying with Bangkok Airways.
Vice president of marketing at Bangkok Airways, Prote Setsuwan had this to say about the frequent flyer partnership with India's Jet Airways:
'We are delighted to partner with JetPrivilege, the frequent flyer programme of Jet Airways. This will bring significant benefits to passengers of both airlines. As Bangkok Airways always continues to offer our FlyerBonus members more value and options we hope and trust that this partnership will enhance their traveling experience with us.'
Gaurang Shetty, Senior VP for Commercial at Jet Airways said:
'This partnership with Bangkok Airways will offer exceptional value to our guests. The new codeshare destinations with Bangkok Airways are an important extension to the Jet Airways international network, enhancing our product and offering greater choice and convenience to our guests.'
Managing director of Jet Airways' loyalty and frequent flyer program, JetPrivilege, Manish Dureja, also commented on the partnership with FlyerBonus, the loyalty scheme of Bangkok Airways:
'We are pleased to add Bangkok Airways as another partner for our JetPrivilege members to earn and redeem JPMiles. Enhancing reciprocal reward benefits for our JetPrivilege members will enable us to deliver to them a seamless experience when flying domestically and internationally across the combined networks of Jet Airways and Bangkok Airways.'
He also added:
'This is an exciting start to the new year for JetPrivilege, as we continue to focus on expanding the choice of airline and non-airline rewards for our members.'
