Bangkok Airways Awarded 5th Best Airline For Cabin Service

The Bangkok-based regional carrier has proven, once again, its world-class customer service with the latest award from a travel website.

The 'Best in Travel' is an annual event initiated by SmartTravelAsia.com which polls travelers from around the world to vote for their favorite travel brands. This year's Best in Travel 2014, Bangkok Airways was awarded the 5th Best Airline for Cabin Service, Worldwide category.

According to the Bangkok Airways' Director for Corporate Affairs & Events, Mr. Songkrot Palakawong Na Ayuthaya, the latest recognition is a testament and a manifestation of the airline's commitment to world-class quality service that all its customers deserve.

The award is the latest of the three major recognitions received by Bangkok Airways this year alone by prestigious award-giving bodies. Earlier this year, the airline also bested other major airlines in Asia when it was voted the World's Best Regional Airline, as well as Asia's Best Regional Airline by SkyTrax.

Bangkok Airways currently operates a route network of 23 destinations across the region 13 of which are international routes such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Mumbai, Dhaka, Maldives, Vientiane, Luan Prabang, Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw. Its domestic routes include Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Pattaya, Phuket, Sukhothai, Trat, Samui, Krabi, and Udon Thani.
