AirAsia Increases Bangkok to Siem Reap Frequency

The low-cost leader is bullish about the Bangkok-Siem Reap route that it is increasing capacity between the Thai capital and Cambodia's most popular destination, with the addition of one more flight to its existing twice-daily service.

Starting December 1, Thai AirAsia will commence its third daily frequency to Siem Reap, the gateway to the world famous and UNESCO Heritage Site, Angkor Wat.

According to the airline's Commercial Director, Santisuk Klongchaiya, they are able to fill 80% of each flight between Bangkok and Siem Reap. Thai AirAsia started flying on the route only last year.

He was excited to announce to the media the additional frequency between the Thai capital and Cambodia's popular destination, saying the route has been showing encouraging yields for the airline.

The airline official also said that the additional frequency shall be able to meet the growing travel demands between the two cities. He added that with the increased flight frequency, it will augment its connectivity between popular destinations in the ASEAN region and beyond.

During the launching of the additional service, the airline dangled a promotional offer of THB1,790 for a one-way all-in travel starting today until November 2, 2014. The ticket is valid for travel between December 1 and April 30, 2015.

With AirAsia's fly-thru deals, passengers would be able to connect seamlessly to many exciting destinations across its network, such as the popular resorts destinations and major capitals like Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Macau, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Yangon, and a lot more via its Bangkok hub at Don Mueang.

The Fly-thru service allows smoother connection between AirAsia destinations enabling customers to purchase two different flights and connect thru Bangkok.
