Roi Et Airport is a regional domestic airport serving the Roi Et province of Thailand. It used to be served by two low-cost carriers Nok Air and Thai AirAsia which both connect passengers to Bangkok via Don Muang International Airport, but Nok Air later discontinued its service, leaving just AirAsia operating there.
At present, Roi Et Airport is operated by Thai AirAsia with 24 flights weekly between the two destinations
Due to its small size, Roi Et Airport houses only a small number of facilities but are enough to serve passengers hassle-free. Inside the airport are a departure hall, check-in counters for Thai AirAsia, car rental booths, an information booth, a waiting area, and stalls offering snacks and meals.
Passengers arriving at Roi Et Airport should note that there is only a limited number of transportation options offered from the airport: by taxi or by car rental.
Renting a car from Roi Et Airport from the city center is a convenient option for passengers, although a bit more expensive than taking a taxi. Car rental booths are located inside the airport where you can book a service.
Taxis can be found easily outside the airport where cab drivers wait for passengers. Passengers should prepare to negotiate with taxi drivers for the fare to the desired destination.
