Thai Smile To Waive Tickets Booked Before August 1

8th Aug 2014

AirAsia Plane

Customers who booked tickets for travel to and from Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Khon Kaen will be able to get their payment waived, provided that the booking was made prior to August 1.

Starting last August 8, Thai Smile shifted its base of operations to Don Mueang International Airport from its current hub at Suvarnabhumi. Flights affected on the transfer will be routes between Bangkok and resort cities of Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Khon Kaen.

According to THAI Vice President (Sales & Distribution) for Thailand and Indochina, Mr. Wiwat Piyawiroj, customers will be able to get their tickets waived if they won't pursue their travel plans. They also have an option to change their travel dates with Thai Smile on the same route without additional charges. Those tickets should have travel dates between now and August 31, 2014.

Those who want to pursue their original travel plans with Thai Smile from its new hub at Don Mueang will no longer need to rebook their flights.

However, those who will cancel their travel plans with Thai Smile to and from Don Mueang can get a refund for their tickets without additional charges. Alternatively, they may change their Thai Smile flight with any flight operated by THAI Airways to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport without paying extra charges.

Customers may contact THAI ticket offices and travel agents for more information or they can call THAI contact Center through telephone number 02-356-1111.
