THAI Smile Flight Crew Wear Milin Yuvacharuskul Creations

Bangkok-based popular designer Milin 'Mimi' Yuvacharuskul has created a line of wearables for the flight crew of THAI Smile Airways.
Milin based her designs with the airline's slogan in mind while incorporating her taste for sophisticated textiles, sinuous forms, and sharp details.
According to the designer, she conducted an interview among the crew to find out what they really needs while at work. She also took time to see the crew in action so she could come up with a design that is also practical and appropriate for their line of work.
The original designs presented have gone through several changes before they were finalised. But according to Milin, she isn't new in the airline business so she didn't have a hard time adjusting.
Aside from turning out seven designs for the crew, she also gave practical advice as regards the type of bags and shoes that will go with the set of uniforms. The set consisted of dress shirt, jacket, pants, and skirt.
Each of the seven designs exude everything that is Thai, although presented in a more modern light.
The colour scheme is basically tangerine with touches of purple, yellow, and pink. Milan said the shades used resembles the magnificent colour of the sky at dusk.
