Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport Re-Opens

Following flooding in the South of Thailand, Nakhon Si Thammarat airport has re-opened allowing flights to take off and land.

Repairs to the airport cost around 50 million Baht, but now Nok Air, Air Asia and Orient Thai are operating daily flights to and from the airport.

The airport is reported to be requesting another 56 million Baht from the government in order to further increase quality of the runway.

Nakhon Si Thammarat hostpial also suffered damages from the flooding, amounting up to 40 million Baht, but has now also re-opened.
