Phrae Airport is a small regional airport serving the province of Phrae in Thailand.
Currently, the airport accommodates short flights by Nok Air to Bangkok through Don Muang International Airport.
Phrae Airport is managed and operated by the Department of Airports, along with 27 other civil airports.
Due to its small size, Phrae Airport houses only a handful of facilities. It features a sales ticketing booth for Nok Air, waiting area for passengers, retail stores where snacks and souvenirs can be bought, vending machines, restrooms, rent-a-car booths, and an information desk.
Car-rental booths are located inside the airport, just across the waiting area. Passengers can opt for this option and guarantee their transfers through advanced bookings.
There are also hotel pick-up services from Phrae Airport but this depends on the hotel you are staying at. If unsure, it is advisable to ask the management for such service.
Arriving passengers can book motorbike taxis from Phrae Airport, but this option is most applicable to backpackers or those travelling lightly. Motorbike taxis can run you into the city center and this option is much cheaper than car-rental services.
