Korean Air add Thailand flights

Korean Air has announced intentions to restart several of its cancelled services including between Seoul and Dubai, Phuket, and Chiang Mai, routes that had been halted since March 2020.

The Phuket route is scheduled to depart Seoul Incheon at 17:55 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and arrive in Phuket at 22:00. The return flights are scheduled to depart Phuket at 23:20 on the same day and arrive in Seoul-Incheon at 07:55 the following morning.

Korean Air is resuming the Chiang Mai service with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airline will provide four flights each week, leaving Seoul Incheon at 17:55 and landing in Chiang Mai at 21:30 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The return flights are scheduled to depart Chiang Mai at 23:00 and land in Seoul Incheon at 06:25 the next day.

The airline will also restart its Middle East network by flying to Dubai three times each week. The Incheon-Dubai route will be operated by A330-300 aircraft, leaving Seoul Incheon at 13:20 on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and arriving in Dubai at 18:55. The return flight is planned to leave the same day at 23:00 and arrive the following day at 12:40 in Seoul, Incheon.

Meanwhile, the maiden Korean Air flight to Budapest, Hungary, is planned to restart on October 3, 2022. The airline will fly this route once per week on Mondays with a 269-seat Boeing 787-900 aircraft, leaving Seoul Incheon at 11:25 and arriving in Budapest at 17:05. The return flight is scheduled to depart the next day at 19:15 and arrive in Seoul-Incheon the following day at 12:50. From Saturday, October 29 there will be an additional flight on this route departing from Seoul Incheon at 12:25 and arriving in Budapest at 17:15. The return flights are scheduled to depart the same day at 19:35 and arrive at Seoul Incheon the following day at 14:15.
